DLC Egg candling and grading machine is well known for their reliability and robustness.
In there systems the eggs are delivered to the grader either by hand or automatically, and
are graded according to the weight of the eggs. After grading, the eggs are to be packed by hand.
Similar to MOBA handpackers. But it's more economical and practical.

5 grades, 5,400 eggs per hour. The DLC 5400 is tailor made for medium sized farms, because
it allows you to switch from one-man operation to two-man operations in seconds.
It is just a matter of positioning the candling mirror to the left or to the right of the infeed conveyor.
DLC5400 is simply and extremely solidly constructed in carbon steel/stainless steel, guaranteeing
many years of service with a minimum of maintenance. The housing of industrial plastic ensures
easy cleaning.

Thank you for your purchase of the egg sorting machine from our company.please read the instruction
before use it in your production.
--The machine frame is made of quality cold rolling carbon steel panel. It's processed with high
accuracy CNC equipment and static powder coated. It has good anti corrosion performance. There are
reinforcement structure to keep the machine strength. The machine is light weight, high strength,
good appearance.
--There are many molded engineering plastic parts, rubber parts, fiber glass parts, aluminum profile,
the assembly is accurate, each parts can be replaced.
-- The machine has wheel conveyor and scale lever weight mechanism.
--the egg linear speed is adjusted by eccentric chain wheel and compensation chain wheel. This will
lead high working efficiency.
--The geared cam and chain transmission can keep the egg moving on the rail smoothly, scaling and no
breaking.
--self rolling rubber wheel will array the eggs automatically during moving.
--the lighting bulb and box can detect the egg quality. You may check the egg quality watching the egg
in light.
If quipped with electrical brush, it can clean the egg surface dirty dust. The brush is optional.
--the machine shall be installed at good ventilation, bright and flat place. Use spirit level or water
level gauge to adjust the machine orientation level.the well adjusted machine is not suggested move at
random.
-- the power supply shall be single phrase 220V, the plug is single phase three pin.
-- Connect the machine with power supply. First to check if the machine has abnormal noise.
--Static adjustment (power off )
Use a palm scale (accuracy 0.1g) weigh all grades of standard egg and making mark on the egg shell.
Then move the belt conical wheel by hand to keep the egg feeding plate at the lowest position (the
brake will open). The scale weighing frame is at weighing state. Adjust correspondent weighing frame
with standard egg, the shift near to the conveyor box is the heaviest grade eggs. The weight will be
gradually lighter from the heaviest shift. Total it have 5 to 7 weight shift.
Detail adjusting method: remove out the chain wheel box, put the egg on the weighing scale frame with
left hand, tuning the copper balance block forward or backward to keep the frame in balance.
Then fasten or lock the balance block. In this way, tuning every grades weighing scale frame.
--dynamic adjustment (motor power on)
Put the standard egg onto the rolling wheel near the conveyor box. First put the heaviest egg on the
first grade shift (each shift has two weight frame). If the heaviest egg cant fall down from the
correspondent weighing frame, it means a mini tuning of the balance block to fall down the egg justly.
Then use the egg to adjust/tune the neighbouring weight frame. In this way adjust or tune all the
other weight shifts. After adjustment, cover the chain wheels box.
Egg outgoing speed adjustment is to adjust the rolling speed on the egg tray from the weight scale
frames, if the rolling speed is too quick, the eggs will collide each other and break, if too slow
the egg will pile up.To find a proper rolling speed we can adjust the tilting angle of the egg tray
(in green color).
the lever (3) up or down.
When the egg rolling speed too quick, please tune up the adjusting lever to reduce the egg tray
tilting angle. The egg will roll at lower speed.
When the egg rolling speed too slow, please tune down the adjusting lever to raise the egg tilting
angle.The egg will roll at higher speed.
When adjusting the lever, please keep both side of the egg tray are same height.
The ideal egg rolling state is egg rolling freely and collide slightly with out breaking.Fasten
the screw nut 2 to finish the adjustment.
The machine works for a certain period, the distance between conveyor and egg backing plate will
change a little. In this case, you just need to adjust the distance between them to get the normal
work. The eggs in conveyance if without the backing plate support it will fall down between the
conveyor and egg backing plate, then it will break.We call this problem "Lag conveyance". Another
case is backing plate block the egg in the conveyor in advance, the egg will break too. We call
this problem "advance conveyance". Take the lag conveyance as sample, the synchronization shall be
done as the following steps:
--take all the eggs off the machine, remove the machine cover, find the yellow painted parts-located at side of the conveyor-link ear, adjust the link ear upside, turn off the power.
--turn the conveyor wheel forward with hand, the link ear will dispatch from the transmission lever.
-- use wrench to tune the link ear screw, make the bolt extended 3-5 mm.
--put one egg on the conveyor, move the triangle belt by hand to watch the egg falling situation,
the triangle belt move direction shall be same as the normal working case). If the egg backing
plate can support the egg in time, the adjustment is successful. After adjustment,must fasten the
fastening nut on the link ear.
--At normal condition, the egg backing plate at its max limited position, the egg feeding plate
shall be at its highest position. Two double conveyance wheels at Front end Conveyor box shall be
in same vertical line.
-- use the same way to solve "advance conveyance" problem. The only difference is tuning direction
is clockwise in this case.the screw lever shall be shorter.
--cover the machine cover, may start the machine now.
After a period of working, the friction between the belt wheels will lower. It will lead to slip
and lower the working speed. We should adjust the triangle belt in the following steps:
-- power off
--dispatch the egg tray
--loosen transit tower wheel fastening nut
--loosen motor base fixing bolt
--turn the screws at one side of the motor and tense the belt wheel to normal state.
--fasten motor base fixing bolt
--fasten transit tower wheel fastening nut
--install the egg tray , fix the bolt and regulation lever nut
-- if without tower wheel, directly adjust the distance between motor and belt, then fasten the nut.
Each shift shall grease the machine before production as the following instruction:
-- the parts marked ∆ shall inject N5-N10 mechanical grease oil (once a shift)
--the parts marked ☆ shall inject sartorius lubricant or 500-100# loom oil (once a shift)
--the parts marked ※ shall inject ZG-1# calcium based grease (once a month)
-- all transmission chain inject N5-N10 mechanical grease oil once a shift.
--Before off work the machine shall be cleaned, especially the dirties on the conveyor wheels,
the weed, feather and other mass, use the wet cloth to clean the machine after power off the machine.
